Community members enjoyed a festive Independence Day weekend at Mercedes-Benz of The Woodlands’ Pet-riotic Day Out. Guests enjoyed taking photos of their fur babies, a fun raffle, and meeting local rescue groups. The event raised funds for the Houston Area Rescue Team (HART), Montgomery County Animal Shelter and Westie & Scottie Rescue of Houston.

A Mission of the Heart

The American Heart Association’s (AHA) annual Montgomery County Go Red for Women Luncheon arrived in style at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott and hosted nearly 1,000 guests to raise the lifesaving funds to fight the #1 and #5 killers of women – heart disease and stroke. The event raised more than $900,000.

Guests joined Richmond Realty RE/MAX The Woodlands and Spring for an evening of Fine Food, Wine, Spirits, and Entertainment hosted at the beautiful Mercedes Benz of The Woodlands. The event raised $50,000 for Montgomery County Youth Services, which provides crisis counseling, shelter programs and prevention services to strengthen families, keep youth in school and prepare them to be productive citizens in Montgomery County.

The fourth annual Women Empowering Women Luncheon was held arrived at The Westin at The Woodlands where Stephanie Decker, this year’s keynote speaker, shared her inspiring story. Decker left guests with the fitting message, “Don’t let the storms in life get you down.” Presented by CHI St. Luke’s Health, the event raised much-needed funds for Interfaith Community Clinic.

Montgomery County Youth Services hosted 350 ladies at their 19th Annual Ladies Night Out event. This year’s theme “Fiesta for a Cause”, took over The Woodlands Waterway Marriott for an evening of fun fiesta games and activities. The much anticipated signature Hula Hoop and Musical Chairs contests were a hit again this year as the ladies competed for Market Street and IW Marks Jewelers gift cards.

Giving Goes Glam Fashion Show and Luncheon, was attended by more than 850 guests who arrived dressed “White Haute” in support of the 6th annual event raising over $365,000. The fashion show and luncheon combined fashion and philanthropy in support of Interfaith of The Woodlands and Junior League of The Woodlands.

The 11th Annual Wine Dinner honored Dr. Ann Snyder and was sponsored by Mercedes-Benz of The Woodlands. Funds raised help to support The Woodlands Rotary Club Foundation that supports scholarships and charitable projects in the community. The James Bond-themed event was held at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott where guests enjoyed dinner, drinks and casino-style entertainment including fabulous show girls and casino tables.
